My life spans across different countries. I was born in Hong Kong, raised in Vietnam, and now live in Dallas, TX, where I discovered my passion for Art and Human-Centered Design.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design with a focus on User Experience from the University of North Texas, a tier 1 research university in the US. Additionally, I have minors in Anthropology and Art History, where I learned the importance of culture and how it shapes art, design, and creativity.
In late 2024, I had a unique opportunity to work with blind and low-vision (BLV) users to develop a companion app for a mobility aid device. The project has significantly shifted my perspective and inspired me to become an accessibility advocate. I came to realize that navigating the digital world is just as important as navigating a physical environment. The collaboration with BLV users taught me that visual design holds value not only for sighted users, but also for users with vision impairment.
With that in mind, I want to create accessible digital environments where everyone can navigate with ease and independence.
